Did you recently have your home purchase contract cancelled by Open Door, Offer Pad, Zillow or another iBuyer because of the COVID-19 virus?

From talking to many local Arizona real estate agents and homeowners over the last few days as well as reading the most recent reviews cancelling these offers has left many potential homes sellers wondering what they can do.

With the recent safety concerns stemming from the COVID-19 virus many of the top iBuyer companies in the Phoenix Arizona area have temporarily stopped making offers on homes.

What you can do if your purchase contract was cancelled by Open Door, Offer Pad, Zillow or Redfin….

1) Do you have a pending contract on another house you are wanting to purchase?
You may have many options especially if you are working with a licensed Realtor in Arizona. Hopefully you wrote that the new home purchase was contingent on the sale of your current home but if you didn’t, Arizona has released a new mutual cancellation form you can utilize assuming both parties agree.

2) Do you still need to sell due to a job transfer or you closed on a new home or are now in a lease and/or renting?
First thing you need to do is find out what your neighborhood real estate market is like. What are homes selling for and how fast are they selling? To do this you should talk to a local real estate expert in the Phoenix AZ area or see how much your home is worth instantly.

If you have any direct questions on how you can still sell your home or buy a home in this unpredictable market caused by the COVID-19 virus drop me a message. Im here to help.
